Roxborough State Park | Sarah & Jared
Sarah & Jared | Spring Engagement
Jared called me up on a Friday afternoon and after a bit of catching up, informed me that he was now engaged and his fiancee was in town but only until Tuesday! So we quickly got down to business and found a time the next day to take their engagement photos.
Sarah is from Virginia, and that is where the wedding will take place, so they thought they should get some of the cool Colorado red rock formations in their engagement photos while she was out here. After a little research we decided to take the photos in Roxborough State Park in Morrison, CO, because it was one of the few locations open during the Covid-19 lockdowns. Don’t worry, we kept our space, and stayed healthy!
We lucked out and got a pleasantly warm Spring day, free of wind or precipitation. Though the park was full, due to it being one of the few open places, we only saw a handful of other people hiking the trails. I think we saw more deer than we saw people, which is always welcome!
As you will see below, we got some great shots of the two of them. The partly cloudy weather made for great lighting, and we finished strong with a solid Colorado sunset! Take a look!
